It's time to turn on the furnace, so what should you do before you turn it on?
I recommend cleaning the air filter or replacing depending on what style you have .. but more importantly if you have a humidifier built in to your furnace, it's time to clean the tray and change your pad.
An easy and inexpensive way to clean the drum and the tray is to combime 1/2 vinegar and water in the tray and let soak, however if you don't have that much vinegar, clr or clr type products work well.
You can buy your replacement pads at Canadian Tire or Home depot for around 9.00, this pad should be changed each year.
Here is a pic and link to what it looks like.
